The Cut for the Crown 2026 Entrance Agreement and Content License — eligibility, submissions, permissions, ownership, the license you grant Sponsor, and how your name and work may be used.
Your work stays yours. You give us permission to use it.
1. Agreement
By registering as a Competitor, submitting a Submission or electronically accepting this Agreement, I agree to the Official Rules, Competition Policy, Official Prize Terms, Competition Privacy + Communications Notice and this Entrance Agreement. Capitalized terms have the meanings stated in the Official Rules.
2. Eligibility
I confirm I am at least 18 years old, my registration information is accurate, and I hold the professional license, credential or authorization required to perform the services shown in my Submissions where required by law.
3. My Submissions
I confirm each Submission is my original work or that I otherwise control sufficient rights to submit it. I understand I may submit up to three Submissions and each approved video is a separate Submission.
4. People Shown or Heard
I am responsible for obtaining permission from every identifiable person appearing or heard in my Submission. I confirm each such person is at least 18 years old and has authorized the recording and uses contemplated by this Agreement. Sponsor may request proof.
5. Third Party Material
I am responsible for sufficient rights to music, artwork, photography, trademarks, locations, performances and other third party material appearing in my Submission.
6. Ownership
I retain ownership of the original content I create.
7. Content License
I grant Sponsor and its affiliates, successors, licensees, agencies, contractors, distributors, retailers, media partners, promotional partners and service providers a perpetual, worldwide, royalty free, fully paid, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, publish, display, perform, distribute, transmit, stream, repost, share, crop, resize, caption, subtitle, dub, translate, edit, excerpt, adapt, combine with other material and create derivative works from my Submission. The license is irrevocable except where applicable law requires otherwise.
8. Commercial and Marketing Use
The license includes organic social media, paid advertising, ecommerce, product pages, websites, email, SMS and MMS marketing, retailer and distributor materials, marketplace content, print advertising, trade shows, education, sales presentations, public relations, editorial promotion, compilations and other Imperial Barber Grade Products marketing.
9. Name, Likeness and Represented Business
To the extent permitted by law, I authorize Sponsor to use my name, professional name, social handle, image, likeness, voice, biographical information, location, professional credentials, Submission information, Competition placement and Represented Business in connection with Competition administration, recognition, publicity and marketing.
10. Editing
Sponsor may make reasonable edits for length, format, platform requirements, captions, branding, accessibility, translation, product focus or creative presentation. I waive any right to approve each final use to the extent permitted by law.
11. Razzle Dazzle Assistant
I understand the Razzle Dazzle Assistant is an optional AI writing tool limited to proposed Submission titles and descriptions. I remain responsible for every title and description I choose to publish. Sponsor does not guarantee suggestions are accurate, original, effective, complete or appropriate. Use does not affect Votes, ranking or Competition results.
12. No Guaranteed Exposure
Sponsor is not required to feature, advertise, repost or otherwise promote any Submission. Participation does not guarantee media coverage, social growth, business leads, Likes, Comments, Votes or advancement.
13. No Confidentiality
Submissions are not confidential. I will not submit confidential information, trade secrets or private information I do not want publicly associated with me.
14. Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release Sponsor and its authorized users from claims arising from authorized exercise of the rights granted in this Agreement, except rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
15. Responsibility and Indemnity
I am responsible for claims arising from my breach of this Agreement, including claims concerning copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, permissions or professional authorization. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to defend, indemnify and hold Sponsor and its authorized users harmless from resulting third party claims.
16. Removal
Removal of a Submission does not automatically require Sponsor or third parties to recall, destroy or discontinue material already lawfully produced, distributed, published or licensed, except where required by law.
17. Electronic Acceptance
Checking the Competition Acceptance box and completing registration constitutes electronic acceptance of this Agreement.
